    I'm a software engineer by trade. Over my 10-year career, I've architected complex systems — most notably spending three years building and managing an Enterprise Learning Management System for a major security firm in the Middle East.

    It was there that something started to bother me. Quietly. We were testing operators on exactly the things that would never save a life in a real incident — multiple-choice questions, compliance tick-boxes, theory modules. The scores were excellent. Management was happy. The programme was considered a success.

    But I kept staring at the data. Something in the numbers felt like a lie I couldn't name yet.

    Then came the live-fire exercises. The failure rate spiked. The same people who aced the theory crumbled under time pressure. They had done the hard work to earn their certifications — but the process stopped there. They memorised the answers. They hadn't built the muscle memory to execute.

    I'm not a SOC analyst. I'm not a physical security officer. But I am the person who spent years watching the measurement system fail — and I knew exactly what needed to be built. In December 2025, I started building : a simulation engine that doesn't ask professionals what they know. It drops them into live scenarios and watches what they do.

    To make performance provable, I engineered the Decision Action Report (DAR) — a cryptographically signed forensic record of every decision made under pressure. And because readiness isn't static, I built the Role Readiness Index (RRI) to track it over time. The goal has never changed: stop guessing what a candidate can do, and start proving it.
